English Baccalaureate Information

In order to achieve the qualifications that make up the English Baccalaureate, you will need a 'good pass' in each of the following:
• English Language and Literature
• Mathematics,
• Triple Award Science or Core Science plus Additional Science (Computing)
• Modern Foreign Language (French)
• History or Geography

We are not making this combination of subjects compulsory, but recommend that you consider it if there is a possibility that you might go on to University.

Core Subjects – studied by all students:
English Language
English Literature
Mathematics
Science
Citizenship
Core PE
PSHE and RE (non-examined)

In addition you will have 3 option choices – please complete your choices as you go through the form.

**Please note: If you have chosen either Core History or Core Geography above,
you CANNOT pick that subject as an option.
