Year 7 Catch Up Premium
The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium was introduced by the Government in January 2013 and is paid to schools to rapidly raise levels of achievement for year 7 students who attained below the national expected standard in reading and/or maths, at the end of key stage 2.
This fund has now been discontinued with the last payments made during the 2019-2020 academic year. The strategy statement below showed how the funding was used during the final year of the funding.
